What will be the natural next step after Deeplearning.AI course

Dear All,

Can anyone suggest a layered / contextual approach, where what will be the next step / course to take after the Deeplearning.AI.
My objective is to : Get the skills that are required to start with sample projects in AI.
Say for eg: a ‘python for datascience’ may be the next steps.
Looking for some guidance here.

“DeepLearning.AI” isn’t a specific course, it’s the name of the company.

Which courses have you attended?

Generative AI for everyone by Andrew Ng ( Coursera)

Where are you on the scale of computer programming skills?

I have used python for scripting purposes and shell scripting. Iam planning to refresh python skills as it is very much required. I was looking for a course where I can try hands on and get the concepts on the way.

After going through the full-course, I am getting a feeling that ‘Machine Learning Specialization’ will be a good one to do, as it looks to me that, it has some small activities to try out.

Thanks for your follow-up questions.

Yes, MLS followed by DLS would be a great way to get started here. Once you complete those two, you have good basis for your further work. Here’s another recent thread asking a similar question.

Thank you Paul for your inputs.

I can’t remember whether these are free or not, but they’re on some learning platforms; the University of Michigan do python courses with Dr Chuck (Charles Severance). I’d forgotten a lot of my python since I only used a few specific methods etc., and this was at times too basic, but was exactly what i needed. I think there are four courses and you could pick them depending on your level.
