It did not help. What should we do?
Solution for exercise 1:
array = np.random.uniform(a,b,num_samples)
but it gives me zero grad for that. Please provide us the solution.

Hi, do you pass the unit tests? Can you share the message after the grading, please?
I am facing similar issues my 2 assignments are graded 0. Kindly help
Looks like all the users are facing the same issue of Week 1 Assignment not being graded.
Few things I tried:
None of these worked and the assignment still outputs the 0 score.
@lucas.coutinho I have send you the Lab ID in a private message, I hope you would be able to help with it.
If you find some solution, please post it here as well.
i am also facing similar issue. 0/10 for all questions. I renamed the workbook but no vain. It says “There was a problem compiling the code from your notebook. Details:
cannot assign to None (, line 343)”
Hey @toontalk,
That’s interesting indeed, thanks a ton for sharing your insights. I myself was primarily referring to the imports that you did on your own, but what I failed to realise that it was indeed needed, and that doing custom imports in the first cell doesn’t affect the grader. I will keep this thing in mind while helping learners in the future.
Cheers,
Elemento
Hey @Kuberan_Naganathan,
Welcome, and we are glad that you could become a part of our community Can you please confirm if your issue has been resolved, or if it still persists?
@Kirtikumar_Pandya, can you please let us know if you are using partial grading or not? Unless you use partial grading, if you don’t complete all the exercises in your notebook, I believe that the grader will give a compilation error. So, if you want to grade your exercises, either complete all the exercises, or either use partial grading. Please let us know if this helps.
@Amrita_kungwani, welcome, and we are glad that you could become a part of our community If you are facing the same issue as @Kirtikumar_Pandya, then please go through the above suggestion once.
@Dhwani_Bosamiya and @asadkazmi, please go through the above suggestions once. Let’s make sure that all of you don’t face this issue from tomorrow onwards.
Cheers,
Elemento

It would be great if you can help, because it looks like a grading issue that I am not able to resolve.
Thanks,
Dhwani
Can you somehow reset everything in my lab assignment? I happen to cannot do this action
My Lab ID: iabymowujwzb
Thank you! I am also suffering from this like anyone because the grading session is so confusing.
I’ve deleted the notebook. How can i restart the assignment?
I also have a cryptic error meaning I get 0 for the assignment
this is after searching for None
and making sure they are all completed, after restarting the kernel and running all cells again. All my outputs match the notebooks expectations. But I get this error for all the problems. I did not use partial grading, nor import anything extra etc.
Thank you for this comment. It helped.
Just a summary comment on this thread before I close it.
The most common issue wtih this assignment is using an obsolete copy of the notebook or the w1_unittest.py file.
So the first thing to try is deleting your .ipynb and .py files, and then use “Help → Get latest version” to get a new copy of the notebook.
Then start over on the assignment.
If you continue to have issues, please start a new thread.
