Question reagarding basic of ml

hi just wanted to ask should i go with collab or not as it taking too long to run a code . some local software i should try if yes please suggest
also doing basic ml course please tell should i wra[p them using apis and gradio
or should i mostly focus on dl

If you’re a beginner, focus on ML basics first and move to DL later. Colab is fine if you don’t have a strong PC, otherwise Anaconda + Jupyter Notebook will be more stable locally. APIs and Gradio aren’t necessary right now — they’ll be more useful later when you want to showcase or deploy your models.

the thing is i am 3rd yr cse student i am doing andrewng triology and 3 blue 1brown for maths later want to dive into dl.
secondly i wanted to wrap my models small projects to deply them so i can showcase in my resume also recently, i came across few problems as my grandpa have some issue using google lens(as its complicated for him and he asks me for help all the time), so i wanted to make basic pdf language tranlater and i came across problem of collab not working fast ,so i want hime to have a deployed baisic translater which he can open in his mobile phone

and i have a pc with nividia gpu rtx 3060 was thinking of going with anaconda+jupyterlab
also have a doubt will i need to install many lib as vs code

That’s great, with an RTX 3060 you’ll have a smooth experience running ML/DL locally! :+1: Anaconda + JupyterLab is a solid choice — the best part is Anaconda already comes with most commonly used libraries pre-installed, so you won’t need to install as many manually as in VS Code. You can always add extra ones later with a single command if needed.
