Christopher Manning is a deep reservoir of many things NLP

I actually read a lot of original publications while going through the NLP specialization, as well as blogs.
Some of my recommendations:

  1. “Understanding LSTM Networks” - Understanding LSTM Networks -- colah's blog

  4. For book, I recommend “Practical Natural Language Processing” by O’Reilly
