Hi @blaudino , based on your screenshot, it seems that you did not change the instance type to t3.nano (step 7.1.4 in the instructions page). Please try the lab again, and make sure to follow each step in the instructions carefully so that the auto-grader can recognize the correct launch template.
I’m having the same issue. It said that I’m not autorized to use the launch template. I tried to choose a t2.nano in a new version as kusanagi suggested, but it did not work for me.
And I’m penalized at the “Execution of Launch Template” with 0/30 as score.
t2.nano is incorrect.
Hi @djibysow , please make sure to follow the steps for 7.1.3 and 7.1.4. You need to create a launch template version, uncheck the auto scaling guidance checkbox, and then change the instance type to t3.nano from the drop-down

Hi a Have a big issue with the lab. I do not have permissions to creat a Template I try many times to creat an Instance with a template and give this message
I run out of time and try to make the lab again the user Coursera gives to use AWS is no longer available

I could reproduce the error after playing around with the auto scaling group. Could you choose t3.nano from the dropdown instead of t2.nano instance type. Thank you
