Week 3 Lab - Creating a new launch template with Nano instance type

I am able to create the new launch version with the Nano type but the update fails wit permission denied error.
“You are not authorized to use launch template: lt-00b229720cb5e8baf”

Has anyone run into the issue of not able to update the launch template to point to the new version as per the lab doc?

Ensure that each configuration are set correctly according to the instructions.

“You are not authorized to use launch template: lt-00b229720cb5e8baf”
is due to that permissions are set in place to prevent any other configurations.

There is a checkbox which allows aws to recommend settings, which you will have to uncheck.

Followed the doc to the tee. I verified it was unchecked still getting permission denied error when trying to update.

Again went through the doc made sure the check box for “Provide…” is unchecked but still getting the same error message.

Can I get the grade corrected?

That was unchecked.

Could you double check if you used to correct instance (t3.nano instead of t2.nano) from the dropdown. Thank you

This fixed the issue. My bad, I was indeed selecting t2 instead of t3nano. Thank you very much!

Hello I am getting a different error that is stopping me from deploying t3.nano. I am unable to fix this issue can someone help me ?
