But there is an “ordering” problem with that strategy, isn’t there? The TF courses seem to assume you already know what a ConvNet is and how it works and just treats them as “black boxes”, so you need to complete DLS C1, C2 and C4 before you do the TF specializations. So it’s a chicken or egg problem.
The other alternative is just to spend some time on the TF website. It’s a product of Google, right? So they know how to create a website that explains things. There are intros and tutorials.
Prof Ng does give an intro in DLS C2 W3 and the assignment there also walks you through things. You’ll learn more in DLS C4 and there are also helpful threads on the forum to supplement the course material. But if you want more background info, the TF website is a good resource.
