Apart from the course on Mathematics for Machine Learning are there any other courses or books that provide an understanding for the Statistics and Maths part of Maxhine Learning and Deep Learning?

Here’s a “bibliography” thread with references to lots of books related to ML. The Goodfellow, Bengio et al book sounds like one that might be worth a look given your stated goal.

From the list I understand that : Deep Learning - Adaptive Computation and Machine Learning series by Ian Goodfellow Yoshua Bengio Aaron Courville is the book from where we can learn basics of the maths and statistics around Machine Learning.
