Strange Error on C1W1_Assignment. - Invalid dtype: tuple

I’ve coded the assignment and have all the unittests pass. It’s really strange that a compile error would be detected by grader when all the tests pass in the notebook. I’m consistently getting:

There was a problem compiling the code from your notebook, please check that you saved before submitting. Details:
Invalid dtype: tuple

Someone please help !

To help me assist you,

Please click on my name to start a private message. Then, attach your notebook as a .ipynb file. Please note that mentors cannot access your Coursera Jupyter workspace, so sending the notebook in a .ipynb format is essential.

I have sent. you the code. Is there an update ? I’m stuck on completing my course and getting certificate just because of this error. Please provide quick assistance.

I don’t understand why you’ve redefined define_and_compile_model. Remove it and run the notebook again to observe the error.

I got the message from you around 2:16AM IST.

Hi @vaidabhishek,

Please make sure to follow the instructions step-by-step and verify that you’re using the correct data types (e.g., tuple, array, dictionary, set, tensor, etc.). For instance, a tuple might not be the appropriate data structure for that part of your code.

If you feel stuck at any point, feel free to share your notebook with me via Private Messages.

Also, keep in mind that mentors will respond as soon as possible. However, due to potential time zone differences, there may be a slight delay, so please be patient and avoid rushing them.
