Team for hackathons

Hi all! I hope you’re doing well! I wanted to propose an idea that could help us learn together in the field of AI. I’m thinking about forming a group specifically for beginners interested in joining AI hackathons. Whether you’re new to AI or just want to explore it further, this would be a great chance to get hands-on experience and meet like-minded people!

The idea is to:

  • Form a supportive team where everyone can contribute regardless of their AI background.
  • Participate in upcoming AI hackathons (in DEVPOST for example), online.
  • Learn and share knowledge along the way, with no pressure to be an expert, since I am not one myself either :sweat_smile: .

Hey there @falexa I’d love to be a part of your team. I have developed a few DL models, and do have some experience working with data, but for some reason, I’ve always been kinda afraid of hackathons. I definitely want to get out of my comfort zone, and start participating in hackathons (both physical and online)

This sounds fun! I have taken an AI course in my undergrad, and had some experience working with neural networks using PyTorch and tensorflow! I’m interested in joining!

This sounds useful. I have done a bunch of courses on Coursera. However, I never got around to starting anything up myself. Being in a team that expects people to put in the work without expecting a lot of experience might be just the type of motivation I need to get going :smiley:.

Hey! I’d Love to be a part of your team. I have some experience with Data Structures and Algorithms in Python, as well as some Machine Learning Prediction models. This sounds awesome, I have some playing around with AI since the automatic99 version was released on GitHub in Collab and juniper. I’ve also used hugging face and gradio to play around with making a chatbot. I’m taking some deeplearning courses and I’m also working on some course at coursera. I would love to be a part of the team.
