Two questions for your kind consideration:

  1. Andrew discussed three different types of scaling in the video titled Feature scaling part 2. How to determine which method is suitable for a specific dataset? Are they all equally effective? (I see they could differ in the computational complexity)
  2. Is feature normalization same as scaling?

Please explain.
