To continue with probability, do I have to learn calculus first?
From an academic standpoint, calculus is not required to study probability.
But machine learning does use both subjects.
From ML standpoint, I want to know is there any concept of calculus is used in probability?
If you integrate a probability density function, you get the probability distribution.
That’s about it as far as I can recall.
Hi @ARUN_RAWAT
if i remember well, calculus is common used on neural networks and deep learning techniques
However, the question was about studying probability.
Yep! I notice
When you drove deeper into probability theory you do need to know calculus for advanced topics like continuous probability distributions, Bayesian probability, though most of it involved basic integration.
