When I try to submit the assignment, I get this message “Go to the assignment page in your course to see your submissions. Please note that submitting work that isn’t your own may result in permanent failure of this course or deactivation of your Coursera account.” and nothing happens.

Several learners face the issue to save and checkpoint progress. Because of this issue, I guess, you are unable to submit your assignment. We are extremely sorry for the inconvenience but request you wait for a while. We informed the course staff to look into the issue as soon as possible.
