So week 1 was fairly quick to do. I am going quite slowly on week 2, but I feel it’s a minimum of 20 hours? For reference, each video takes me up to an hour to watch and make my own notes and try to understand properly. I have done the first 3 of week 2 and it’s taken around 2.5 hours.
I prefer to go slow if possible so am I out of the course if I dont finish within a week? I did read the faq but not sure if that applies to coursera or some other platform.
Don’t worry about the suggested schedules. There are no real “deadlines”, meaning that there are no penalties if you miss any of them. They will just automatically reset if you miss them. So just work at whatever pace feels right to you based on your learning style and your other time commitments.
Well, the only consequence would be to your pocketbook if you are paying for the courses on a month by month subscription.
Thank you so much for getting back to me. I’m trying to go at a pace where I learn as much as possible as I find sometimes if I’m under time pressure I dont fully grasp a concept and then it really goes badly from there.
My maths is ok but I like the way concepts are explained so far. Other courses I’ve looked at or tried have been mostly expecting you to self learn but then I find that this leads to thinking you understand something but missing something important!!
Anyway thanks again and I’ll see how far I get with it!
