I’m constantly facing issue of opening advanced sql queries notebook. whenever i try to open it i get an error dialog saying “unable to open” “unknown extension vscode.ipynb”
After opening in text editor all i see is text of notebook, no cells
i have tried everything to fix it by reboot, latest version as in instructions. also filled the form on this forum to reset.
Please help!

i don’t know why you can’t load the queries, I’m not a mentor for that course.
The problem with the notebook view is that you’re looking at it as raw text (or code) instead of markdown.
There is an option somewhere in the UI to change the view.
Can you please explain how you fixed this? Did you renamed just the .ipynb file?

I had the same issue and I simply deleted the notebook,click help and get latest version seems to fix it. Hope it helps

Did you rename or delete the .ipynb file, so you have two file now. If both files have the same issue can you reboot afterwards (same like get latest version). Hopefuly one version should work and post screenshot, thanks

You could try to clear cache or a use different browser and turn-off ad-blocking software as well. Just to make sure you followed the correct steps for the solution here since I had the same issue before:
1)right click and rename the C3_W3_Assignment.ipynb to C3_W3_Assignment_COPY.ipynb:
2)click help and the click get the latest version:
3)you should have two files afterwards:
4)if the issue continues finally click help and reboot:

Sorry for the inconvenience but I cannot reproduce the error. I am not sure about your issue so I can help as it seems you cannot open the editor compared to the OP and in my case previously.
Which browser are you using as someone used brave to work, maybe using a company laptop could be the issue due to permissions. I am running out of ideas so any clue could help. Thanks
