What is the duration for the lab environment?

Classroom Item: lab-1-generative-ai-use-case-summarize-dialogue

I am new to Python and GenAI and currently in the week 1 lab section. I am thinking to upgrade to complete the lab but I am concerned if I will only have 2 hours to complete the lab? If I am not able to complete the lab within 2 hours for any reason, can I retry and request the environment for another 2 hours?

Yes you can retry the Lab with many attempts, but 2 hours is more than enough for those Labs.
