Which is better ? Linear Regression with Regularisation or Ridge Regression

I was learning Regularisation and Ridge Regression when it came to my mind that both are used for preventing overfitting . So which one should i use more

Depends on the complexity of your fitting! Ridge is for more complex data and when many features are collinear (dependent on each other)!
