A plea to the technical support team

This message is an appeal to the technical support team regarding my problem related to the weekly and optional labs. I am using a Galaxy Tab and I have tried opening it from all browsers, activating the desktop, and even consulted everyone (ai) from[ GPT & Gemini & Claude & Deep Seek & Google ai ] They all agreed on one opinion :sweat_smile::exploding_head:

I could run the platform on Google Chrome or another Google browser, borrow a computer from a relative, or buy one. Currently, my financial situation doesn’t allow for that because I’m just starting out in building my own company. Borrowing a computer from a relative isn’t an option for me because I’m only 14, and they expect me to play on it like everyone else. tried explaining, but I admit my relatives are difficult to convince.:melting_face::downcast_face_with_sweat:

@mubsi, what’s your view on this? Can the Coursera platform support running the Jupyter notebooks on a tablet computer? I’ve never tried it.

You had shared a screenshot of the coursera APP. Can you also share some screenshots of Chrome with desktop mode enabled in your Galaxy Tablet? For example, below are mine taken from a Samsung Galaxy phone:

Hi. I highly suggest reaching out to Coursera about this. Here are ways you can do that. This is a platform issue and they will have more info about that (e.g. what devices should work). Our team only handles the content so I’m afraid we can only offer suggestions. We have no control over how the underlying infrastructure works on Coursera.

Also, what course are you taking? This thread has been made in Deep Learning Specialisation’s Course 4 category, but there’s no lesson called Training Lab: Linear Regression in it.

You are actually taking the Machine Learning Specialisation Course 1, NOT Deep Learning Specialisation.

@Mohmmed_Albanna, one thing I’d suggest to check, as others pointed out, try to open this in a browser.

Usually, with any app/website, when you have an app, and you try to open the website, it redirects you to the app. Make sure you stay in the browser.

As Mubsi suggested, please try to stay in the browser. Don’t use the Coursera APP. Your last screenshots were still the Coursera APP.

Open a browser (like Chrome), go to www.coursera.org, log in, go to the course, and open the lab there. The goal for these steps is to make it possible for you to proceed.
