Description: I am an absolute novice who has literally just joined DeepLearning.AI - however I am not technical and I am looking to study and upskill in AI more from a consultant / project manager persepective when advising clients on how they should transition their business processes and other processes using AI.
Currently, I am a bit overwhelmed at the study/course material that there available on this platform.
I wondered if anyone can guide me how I can navigate through the study/course material in a systematic way where I start with beginners course and move onto intermediate etc from the point of view of what is useful to upskill for a consultant / project manager.
Start with AI for Everyone I guess which is a beginners course. If you want to learn the mechanics of the AI then next you can do Machine Learning and Deep Learning Specialisations, but you need some math and python understanding for that. If you dont have python and math prior knowledge you can find on Coursera courses fro them.
From the perspective of consultant I am sure what to say but I would say learning the mechanists and possibilities/applications that AI can offer can help in that, and there are a lot of courses here to gain more and more knowledge.
Thank you gent.spah
I will start with AI for everyone and perhaps that will lead to insights on next step courses I can continue to take in AI. I have no knowledge on python and am really not inclined to go down that route as I am not a technical person and dont wish to be. I am trying to understand with my current skillset, what are the more useful courses to learn on here where I can marry AI skills with my current skillset (project management, strategy, process /business transformation). Thanks
If you don’t want to learn any programming, your career in machine learning may be very short.
Even the current batch of tools using large language models and chatbots essentially require you to “program” them by specifying what you want them to do exactly using “prompts”. Creating a prompt that gives the results you want can be just as complicated as a programming language.
You might want to sample some of the Short Courses offered by DLAI. They give lots of completed examples and provide detailed instructions on a wide variety of currently popular topics. What programming is required is already provided for you.
