Another technical issue, with lab in week one

Visualizations lab

I’m having some trouble running this lab. Shift-enter is doing nothing. When I run using the run button, it is not letting me see the graph that says “intuition” something or another. I do have intuition about this data, I’m not confused, but I just can’t see the graph. The slider button does slide, but no graph. I would have liked to see how to program the plots better.

I’m familiar with how to read the graphs and the concepts and even the programming behind gradient descent. It was in C based on the book Numerical Recipies in C, but my undergrad thesis in 2003-2004 used (but was not about) gradient descent. So that was why I mostly skipped that unit and went on to the next quiz. But it would have been at least pleasant to see the plots and compare them to the code.

The plugin that creates these interactive plots is knows to have some browser compatibility issues.
