C1_W1 Assignment upload fail. -submission failed with error 500

course 1 week 1 assignment
Server 500 fail on attempt to upload exercise. Is the server down?

Has anyone else got this? And if so , how to get around it? I didnt see any relevant posts. Many thanks in advance… :slightly_smiling_face:

why is it stating assignment plagiarism?? Cormac, I request you to try after 24 hours, making sure not to mimic any other codes.

You are probably getting this submission failed because of number of attempts.

Please try after 24-hour cycle.

I am still tagging @chris.favila to look upon, so please DM him your lab id, in case there is any lab environment issue.

Also click File==>Open option, if you find multiple submission files then you need to delete previous submitted files from that section.

Thanks Deepti, Ive no idea why it is diplaying this error. I did this assignment myself today. I will DM Chris.

One query i did have though, is that there appears to be 2 ways to submit the assignment. I used the submit button on the coursera webpage in the screengrab. Just like the instructions said. But then there is another section called programming assignment. I came back to this website a few hours after the fails it says i passed this assignment. So i guess this is closed. Many thanks
