This is a widespread issue with AWS permissions throughout the DE courses.
It’s been reported to the course staff.
I am facing the same issue as of today: January 3rd 2026 . I checked the file using linux command ls -l ../.aws/aws_console_url the problem the file is empty or is not generated properly when command was run or my lab was created.
Also question to the community: Can I setup the whole thing manually using my own AWS account? and how much will that cost or is it covered by free trail? Thank you!
I think the best strategy is to wait for DL.AI to fix the problem.

Hi I think your previous aws instance link is still up and running and not expired. If it did and you still have the same result with no link to aws portal then i believe you have to reboot the labs or wait 24 hrs once so that resets automatically.
