I created cloud9 environment and working through the w4 lab. Then I got logged off. In subsequent attempts, following the instructions in the lab, I get the following error repeatedly.
Cloud9 could not connect to the EC2 instance. Please check your VPC configuration and network settings to troubleshoot the issue.
I have tried deleting the environment and recreating. Same issue. Also, it takes quite a bit of time to get to the aws link (mentioned in the instructions) and subsequently to spin up cloud9. Any help appreciated.
Additionally, the associated ec2 instance for cloud9 is stopped. I am not allowed to take any action on the ec2 instance.
Hello @mukundaram
Unfortunately, I was not able to reproduce the issue. The problem might have been with the subnet you have chosen for your cloud9 instance.
Can you please try again with a fresh lab, making sure that you choose de-c1w4-public-subnet-a
as the subnet, and see if the issue persists? If so, please send some screenshots of the errors you see, so that we can get a better understanding of what’s happening.
@Amir_Zare I tried again and it worked. I was able to get through the lab and course. Thank you.
