Cannot open the AWS console and end point of the database

dl-ai-learning / Coursera-platform

    • Week module 4
  1. Try using the cat ~/.aws/aws_console_url to get a console link, but nothing pops up, and not even an error comes out.

  2. I tried accessing the endpoint of database with aws rds describe-db-instances --db-instance-identifier --output text --query “DBInstances[].Endpoint.Address”:
Here is the error output → An error occurred (InvalidClientTokenId) when calling the DescribeDBInstances operation: The security token included in the request is invalid

  3. Rebooting the lab and closing and starting the lab again doesn’t help.

What can I do to resolve this issue, please?

Lab ID: huidlemjrxhd

How can I reset everything to attain the endpoint address?

@jzhen3 Hi!
:link: Access the Support Request Form Here

Wait at least one day if their account is in cleanup before submitting the form.

The assignment with the failed “start lab” issue was in the Week 4 Assignment of Intro to Data Engineering course: Building End-to-End Batch and Streaming Pipelines Based on Stakeholder Requirements

The last survey question doesn’t have the option I wanted to choose, so I pasted my response here.

Thank you, Juliak.

Sure, pasting it here was the right choice.
Did you submit the Support Request form?

yes!

What can I do to proceed? I have been stuck for some days. Please help

Have you tried the Troubleshooting Guide?

Yes, I tried it several days ago. Today, it’s more of an AWS budget issue. But I remember that the day before yesterday, it was an issue of **Unsuccessful vocapi call to start the lab.
**
I filled both forms for requesting to solve Case A and Case B.

I am stuck at this assignment: Programming Assignment: Assignment 3: Building End-to-End Batch and Streaming Data Pipelines Based on Stakeholder Requirements

All the course names showing up on the survey don’t match mine on the Introduction to Data Engineering: Data Engineering - Account Issue Report

Sorry, I don’t understand what that means.

I’m not a mentor for this course. Hopefully someone with detailed information on this will post a reply.

Thank you all the same.

What shows up on the survey:
Course 1 - Introduction to Data Engineering

Course 2 - Source Systems, Data Ingestion, and Pipelines

Course 3 - Data Storage and Queries

Course 4 - Data Modeling, Transformation, and Serving

vs

The 4 modules on my course Intro to Data Engineering:
Week 1 Intro to Data Engineering

Week 2 The Data Engineering Life Cycle and Undercurrents

Week 3 Data Architecture

Week 4 Translating Requirements to Architecture

Data Engineering has four separate courses. Those are listed in your “survey” reply. Each course has several weeks of assignments.

The second list you posted is the list of weekly assignments for Course 1.
