Hi Mentors,

I changed the first line of code in the 3 line code block that was given to us in the Residual Convolution program and want to check the original code.

I usually make a copy of the original program and add my code to the copy
This time I did not do this.

Is there a way to view the original version for the Residual Conv exercise?

Are you referring to Course 4, Week 2, Assignment 1 (the ResNet exercise?)

I’m not sure which cell in that notebook you’re referring to.

Maybe post a screen capture image of what you see there.

There is a topic on the FAQ Thread about how to get a clean copy of any of the notebooks. It involves renaming your notebook aside, so you’ll then have two copies to compare.

If your normal methology is to make a copy and do your work in the copy, I hope you’re aware by now that the grader only grades the “official” name of the notebook. Even if you manage to get a “Submit Assignment” button in a copy, clicking that will not grade the copy: it grades the original. Don’t ask me why, but that’s the way it works.

Yes I am aware of that and rename my copy to the official name prior to submission.
