Downloading assignment files via terminal

The terminal is very strange for a couple of assignments and I am unable to download the files. It just shows a # sign. NOTHING else.

For others, it shows the usual stuff (something like this: jovyan@15xxxxxx:~/work$) and the files can be downloaded by the usual Coursera way.

What is the problem here and how to work around it to download the files?
