Earned badges benefits?

Out of curiosity, I want to ask one thing.
Are the Badges earned in this community any beneficial?
Can I use my status in this community like member, regular, or Leader in my resume? Will it have any positive impact?

Dear @tarunsaxena1000,

Earning badge is a reward, but honestly speaking I do not know it would give edge in resume, but still you can write it.

If there is no benefit then there is no harm eithe.

As far as I know, these badges are designed to gamify and encourage active participation in the community.

Hi @tarunsaxena1000

There was a discussion about this in mentor lounge, I would honestly focus more on improving my skills than trying to get more badges if you ask me because at the end, your resume can become more flashy but your interview will depend on how good you are as a programmer, so don’t bother about badges. Let your work speak which will follow badges and acknowledgement which Community team always acknowledge when it comes to volunteering as mentor.

I sincerely would suggest you to go and explore even outside of Deep Learning.AI, create your own models (Good one, not the LLMs race where now everyone is creating llms models), learn, ask, if doing mistake, accept and get better.

But yes your work and contribution will eventually does hold benefits if you add to your resume, but not just badges.

Regards
DP
