As part of Week 1, course 2 - Lab 1, while launching EC2 instance, a failure message stating “Failed to connect your instance. Error establishing SSH connection…” comes up.
Would appreciate if you can help in resolving this issue.

Sorry for the inconvenience it seems is more related to AWS connectivity issues as @hawraa.salami explained in this post. I couldn’t reproduce the issue but could you try troubleshooting with this video to allow All TCP. Then try to connect to the instances (particularly thede-c2w1a1-bastion-host same like you did in the video for de-c2w1a1-external-bastion-host). Another thing to note in the PC settings you could turn on “set time automatically” and “set time zone automatically”. Thank you
