Is there a way to have the notebook fullscreen or is this as big as it cen get?

There is a “Fullscreen mode” under View → Appearance but it seems to do nothing:

Hi @billyboe ,

You can open the file in full screen by clicking the ‘file’ tab on the menu bar:

file->open->assignment file

Hello,

There is no “open” subitem in the File manu:

Clicking on “File” → “Open Recent” → “[Path fo the current assignment file]” does nothing

Hi @billyboe ,

The interface for this course seems to be very different from the other courses’ Jupyter notebook that we accustomed to. If you want to increase the font size to help with reading, here is how:

The fastest way to increase the overall size (text, menus, and UI) is using your browser’s zoom shortcuts:

  • Windows/Linux: Press Ctrl + + to zoom in.
  • macOS: Press Cmd + + to zoom in.
  • Mouse: Hold Ctrl and scroll the mouse wheel up.

Yes, some courses uses different version of jupyter notebook.

I’d suggest to increase the overall size (text, menus, and UI) as @Kic mentioned. However, I also shared with the team as suggestions for the UI/UX!

Thank you for reporting!

honestly i already used the idea mentioned by @Kic but that somehow enlarged an overall view of notebook making one constantly! adjust the font view from usually we used to the enlarged! version, being said that, the Submit button still hinders those 3 dots even if I scroll m cursor to that point.

i raised this issue with the topic creator was because the normal font view should! be able to display every section without overlapping each other.

I did full-screen mode on the notebook, instead of side-by-side video and notebook. Ok, now how to revert to that same side-by-side mode? I can see a separate window for a video which I can resize (below image), but I am more comfortable with the default side-by-side view.

i remember this happened to me when I tried enlarging the lab section. going back to previous video and reverting back to this lesson/video, will probably bring back the usual lab and video format.

Unfortunately, doing this in my case does not revert to the default interface. Anyway, not so important…
