Could you please list the most recent updated time for each course on Coursera VERY CLEARLY? Since CS knowledge and many other knowledge have time limitations, when I learn and pay for courses, I want to know how each course is maintained over time. I will not be willing to pay for courses that were created several years ago without an update. Thank you
Thank you for the feedback. I believe DeepLearning.AI tries hard to ensure that the courses are upto date with current trends. Recently, the Natural Language Processing Specialization and the TensorFlow Developer Professional Certificate were all updated to reflect new realities.
Regarding the course you are currently enrolled in (based on the filing of this topic), it’s kind of the basic knowledge for deep learning that is not likely to change.
If you are taking DeepLearning.AI courses, I don’t think you have anything to worry about. However, if it’s the Coursera courses in general, then consider submitting your feedback to Coursera.
I think it’s better to show the most recent update time rather than arguing this way. I understand the basic knowledge does not change over time and I trust DeepLearning.Ai is doing good to update the courses. However, for example, there are coding assignments in these courses, which might be using some “out-of-date” coding technique/examples that is not popular anymore. I think it’s better to just clearly label the date (at least roughly which month), which is a type of data learners like me want to have.
Thanks for your suggestion.
