Hello, I am an engineer with an MBA, and an MIT alumnus. I am an AI enthusiast and a veteran in this field, and I came to this forum because I am repeating the Machine Learning Specialization. I took the course about 8 years ago on Coursera using MATLAB. Now I see we use Jupyter Notebooks, which is more practical. Looking forward to learning and keeping pace in AI.
Hi, Carlos. Welcome back! Yes, I also took the original Stanford Machine Learning course by Professor Ng on Coursera about 10 years ago and that was my introduction to all this. You’ll see some familiar topics covered in MLS, but there are some new things as well. Once you finish MLS, a natural next step would be to take a look at DLS, which introduces more advanced topics that weren’t covered in the original or new versions of MLS.
Enjoy!
Paul,
Great to find like minded people. Indeed this is the plan, first MLS and then DLS. At the end I would probably go for some Agentic course, but i haven’t found the perfect match yet. Regards
