How to access labs for the Generative AI with Large Language Models week 1 course?

Hello,

A big thank you to the creators of the course " Generative AI with Large Language Models". I am starting the labs for week 1 of the course. In the “Introduction to AWS Labs”, the instructor says that we are going to use Vocareum for the labs. However, there is no information on what Vocareum is, how I can can access Vocareum, or how I can get started with Vocareum. At a later point in the same video, he says that it is pre-provisioned for us. However, I just see a blank SageMaker Studio. Nothing is provisioned for me. I tried to check the whole course content to see if there are any instructions. I didn’t find any. Does anyone know where I can get the info for me to do the labs? Thank you in advance.

Have you paid the course fee?

My company has sponsored it. They have purchased the seats from Coursera.

OK.

Perhaps a mentor for that course will be able to help you.

Thank you for your response! Appreciate it. Hope to hear from some mentor soon. I feel odd to post such a logistics query on this rich technical forum.

I did not find any way to communicate with the mentors via the course on Coursera. Just to add context, here is the course I am enrolled in - “Coursera | Online Courses & Credentials From Top Educators. Join for Free | Coursera”.

Thank you.

DLAI staff and mentors do not use the Coursera forums.

All communication is here on this forum.

Thank you. Looking forward to someone helping me out. Is there someone who I can reach out to?

@chris.favila, do you have any suggestions here?

Hi Abbas and welcome to the community! The lab is directly after that walkthrough video. The item is Lab 1 - Generative AI Use Case: Summarize Dialogue. You can find all the instructions there. Also, you may find this FAQ useful to avoid common errors, particularly in choosing the correct instance types. Hope this helps!

Hi Abbas. Glad to hear that. If you have additional questions, please create a new topic here in the community. The mentors are monitoring those and they will gladly assist. Thank you!
