For this assignment:
Probability & Statistics for Machine Learning & Data Science Week 1 Naive Bayes Programming Assignment: Naive Bayes
[Math for Machine Learning] → Probability & Statistics for Machine Learning → Week 1 → Programming Assignment (4 hours)
I cannot submit it. I have tried for several days and many many times using different browsers and clearing the cache. I did everything but I cannot submit it!
The error shows “Error Loading Files”.
Anyone, please help me here please!!!

I tried to submit that assignment and got a similar error. It looks like we are having “bad weather” in The Cloud. The grading servers for this course seem to be having problems now. Please wait and try again periodically.

I did some more experiments and I can successfully submit assignments from DLS, from M4ML C1 and from other weeks of M4ML C3. So maybe something recently got broken in this assignment.
Let me check with the course staff …

I have not gotten any response yet from the course staff. I just tried again and I am still seeing the same error. Sorry, but we’ll just have to keep trying. I’ll post here if I get any news.

Is it ok to ask what the nature of the problem was and why it affected only that one particular assignment, particularly in that I don’t think any changes had been made to that course recently?

Hi @paulinpaloalto,
Even though there were no recent changes to the assignment itself, there was a minor update made to the assignment instructions, in the assignment item. I fixed a broken link that directed to the Discourse community. Strangely, this edit disrupted the field specifying the expected filename to be submitted to the autograder. This issue was unusual because Coursera typically prevents the publication or update of an assignment if this field is left blank.

Thanks for the information on the nature of the bug. So it was a change, not some mysterious thing that Coursera did in the grader mechanism.
