I can't open the notebook 'C3_W3_Assignment.ipynb'

When I pressed the ‘Open Lab’ button to work on the assignment, the following error message appears, and I was unable to open the notebook.
‘’‘’’
Error loading webview: Error: Could not register service workers: SecurityError: Failed to register a ServiceWorker: The provided scriptURL(http://****)

Hello @hatanaka
Unfortunately, I couldn’t reproduce the problem. I just opened the lab, and it is working. Can you please try again, and if the same error pops up give us a screenshot?

Thank you for responding to my question. I waited for some time and then tried opening the ‘open lab’ again, but the same error occurred. The error screen looks like the attached image file. (Screenshot_C3_W3.png)

@hatanaka can you please follow the instructions here to reset the lab and see if it helps?
Please don’t forget to rename the C3_W3_Assignment.ipynb file first so that the new file gets downloaded. You can do so by right clicking on the notebook file and choosing rename.

Thank you for responding to my question. I followed the steps based on the URL you provided, but the error screen still appears. I followed the steps in the order shown in the attached images.(#01→#05)

The error has been resolved Because of stopping all the security software installed on my PC. As a result, I can transition smoothly to the assignment screen without encountering the error message. I sincerely appreciate your kind response to my question.

@Amir_Zare, I am having the same error. The C2 W1 Lab1 notebook won’t load, and get the following error:

“Error loading webview: Error: Could not register service workers: SecurityError: Failed to register a ServiceWorker: The provided scriptURL (‘https://niadlyasiwrz.labs.coursera.org/stable-6261075646f055b99068d3688932416f2346dd3b/static/out/vs/workbench/contrib/webview/browser/pre/service-worker.js?v=4&vscode-resource-base-authority=vscode-resource.vscode-cdn.net&remoteAuthority=niadlyasiwrz.labs.coursera.org’) violates the Content Security Policy…”

But not sure I understand your fix. I do have anti-virus software running on my Windows laptop. Do I disable that? I am not sure I should do that. @Amir_Zare, isn’t there a better fix?

Cheers
Ram

@Amir_Zare , I also tried to temporarily pause my anti-virus protection sofwtare. But still same issue

Hello @Ram_Sastry
I am sorry for the inconvenience.
I suggest pausing the anti-virus software temporarily and clearing the cache or trying the lab in an incognito tab. I didn’t have the same issue, but the other student who had this was able to solve the problem by doing so.
If you have another computer device available to you, the lab may work there.
