Hello @Venura_sv,
Thanks for taking the time submitting the form. Yes other learners had Insufficient Lake Formation and the lab refresh seems to fix it. Note, it takes 2 business days to complete since it’s a manual process performed by the engineers. Hope it helps
I had the issue as well, reported using the form and received an email this morning that I could access the lab again and the issue should be fixed.
I encountered the same issue again where there were insufficient LakeFormation permissions to the silver_db database (the transform jobs failed).
I filled out the form again, and provided a bit more detail before pasting the vocapi_logger text.
Hello @jmacclure,
There were other learners with the same issue on Capstone 2 lab. Perhaps a staff @hawraa.salami could check the Insufficent Lake Formation issue for you as well since the lab refresh didn’t work. Thank you
Good to know, thanks. I did try to fix it myself by looking at the IAM role in AWS. Of course I don’t have admin privileges so couldn’t change the permissions (which makes sense, don’t want to give admin permissions lol)
Please let me know once the issue is fixed. Course is really good, so I’d love to finish this.
Thank you.
Issue solved now ?
Hello @Venura_sv,
You should be notified after the lab refresh is complete. Thank you
Just wanted to thank whoever took the time to fix my lab - I was able to complete and submit the assignment successfully.
@Georgios I have the same issue with C4_W4 Capstone Part 2. Would you help me fix? Thanks a lot.
@azhao61 please submit the form so a staff @hawraa.salami @Mubsi can help refresh your lab. Sorry for the inconvenience but the refresh helps with insufficient lake formation. It takes 1-2 business days to complete. Thank you
Thank you @Georgios!
@azhao61 We recently went through all the AWS accounts (that were not attached to a lab) to clean them all and resolve any permission issues.
We also implemented cleaning function at the end of each lab to help clean any AWS account that was not covered in our cleaning process.
This means you can try again the lab, you don’t need to wait anymore for 1-2 business days. The cleaning function had been automatically applied to the lab at the end. Please try again and let me know if you still encounter the same issue.
