Aws labs seems to be taking forever after clicking “Start Lab” . Is this expected ?

Can you be more specific than “forever”?

Aws lab became “green” after 23 minutes. All good now

Hi everyone. To keep the thread on topic, please only comment re: the locked issue (i.e. if you’re still seeing the message about the labs being temporarily locked). You can open a new topic here if you have another concern. The waiting time in Vocareum is a different issue and is mentioned in our FAQ. Thanks!

The lab 2 is back, however the data folder is empty and not containing the notebook script

Majid - Make sure you copy the notebook files from the S3 bucket:

aws s3 cp --recursive s3://dlai-generative-ai/labs/w2-170864/ ./

Highly confusing.
As of today (2024-11-24 17:00 UTC) the Lab 1 is locked for me and has been so since I joined the course a few days ago.
“This item is locked while the course staff update the content. It will be unlocked soon.”
And yet this topic is marked as solved ???

This thread discusses an issue from two months ago which was resolved.

If you are having a new instance of a similar issue, it would be appropriate for you to start a new thread.
