Hello everyone.
I have been learning the path of AI through the DeepLearning.AI academy ,and recently found out that the content of the courses tend to focus more on the theoritcal subject and less on coding and practicing, especially when you look at the labs you can see that they are optional.
Now even though there are OPTIONAL labs, I am discovering through them and play around with the codes included. However,I can still see that I lack the knowledge in code practicing along with the theortical subject.
Anyone can help with that?
Hi. Welcome to the community. Which of the courses are you referring to? Are you enrolled in a specialization?
There are plenty of assignments there, your statement is wrong!
Hey there, yes,I am enrolled in the Machine learning Specialization by the Instructor Andrew NG.
I have already finiched the first course of the 3-courses series, and passed all the optional and non-optional assignments and programming labs but still feel the lack of knowledge in practicing.
Thanks
I have been through all the assignments and done all the graded and the non-graded ones but still see lack of code practicing.
So if you can help in this somehow,I will be appreciated.
MLS is the first place to start learning about ML algorithms and how to implement them. It is the introductory course. Once you finish MLS, then the next set of courses to take is the Deep Learning Specialization (DLS). DLS takes a more advanced approach and includes more challenging programming assignments. Then once you complete DLS, you can take some of the TensorFlow specializations which show you how to create solutions to many different types of ML problems and how to use the various capabilities of TensorFlow.
Go through the courses and all the assingments, there is plenty of coding there!
Appreciate your demonstration about this suggested road map.
So what you are basically saying is that the well-structered practice phase start with the TensorFlow specializations after finiching the two specializations(MLS and DLS) in all of their theoritcal and practical compnents, right?
Thanks for your contribution.
You’re literally repeating yourself at this point
You are right I repeated myself and now I see it.
Okay how about following Paul’s advice and enroll in the DLS specialization, I would also advise to go to kaggle as they have many projects there to practice and compete if you wish.
You need some skills though so I would advise before you go there do the DLS Specialization and if you still feel you need more practice in the courses here there are quite a few you can enroll into after DLS.
Hello again, and thanks for helping.
Yes, Paul’s advice seems to be well-structered and informative.
As you mentioned, I will also take into consideration practicing with Kaggle on some projects.
Appreciated for your advice and contribution Mr Gent Spahiu
Yes, completing course 1 of MLS is just the first step. There is a lot more to learn by completing the other series that I listed. As Gent mentioned, doing some Kaggle projects after that or in parallel with that would also be an excellent way to continue improving your skills at actually solving real problems.
Thank you very much for your cooperation
Hello I’m new here
It is great to be here
i wanna do some projects on ai / ml stuff for my CV. If anyone is interested for a collaborative group project plz reply.
