Hi, I am Birgit, a software developer from Germany, who wants to get into ML. Up to now I have only included AI in my apps, but now I want to find out how Machine Learning really works and what is behind it. I decided to start with my weakest point: Math. I started the Specialization a week ago and now I am knee-deep into linear Algebra. I am looking for people who are also taking this specialization/courses so we can look out for and motivate each other so everybody gets to finalize the specialization. I find it somewhat hard to learn “on my own”. Get active and send me a message!

You can have a private conversation using the “Message” tool. You can add multiple people to a Message session.

Today, I will continue week 2 in my Linear Algebra course. When I see the videos, all seems so easy and when I try to solve the exercises on my own, it gets real hard for me.

Hi Sami, wow! your a speedy learner! I am still stuck in week 2 and had to ask my son to help me understand some things. Sorry, I didn’t reply earlier, I was on a short holiday with my family and man - it was sooo hard to get back to the course knowing how it challenges me. But I did and I am proud of it. So should you be. How do you find Calculus?

Thanks. Nice to see you again. Hope you enjoyed summer. I believe you can finish linear algebra. Module 1 of Calculus is easy like that of linear algebra, may be difficulties are ahead. Only the courage of “Not Giving Up” literally overcomes these.
