Actually i have a query that it is not being told in the lecture that how to code so is it okay ???

In every assignment, you have instructed to where to write your code. Like this:

#START YOUR CODE

#END YOUR CODE.

If you are familiar with Python, you will have no issue understanding the given code and writing your own code. However, if you are not familiar with Python, it is recommended to learn the basics of Python first, then come to the course.
