Non annotated Lecturer notes

Is it possible to get non-annotated lecture notes?

No, it is not.

Okay thanks

Sorry, I don’t understand what you mean by that. Did you see the lecture notes provided under the link shown here:

You’ll have to login to Discourse to get to them, but are those not valid “course notes” from your point of view?

There are also auto-generated interactive transcripts with each lecture, but those are a bit too verbose for reference probably. But they are great for navigating the lectures: you can use text search (cmd-F) to find a phrase and then click it to start the lecture at that point.

Sorry to confuse you.
I asked whether it was possible to get the lecture notes without the handwritten notes .

Ok, sorry, then Tom already answered your question. The notes are what they are. If you are not happy with them in that form, you could try taking screenshots of the lectures at points before Prof Ng starts writing the additional information.

Okay, thanks both of you.

Now that I understand your point, my first thought was “why is less information preferable to more information?” But then it occurred to me that perhaps you are planning to republish them in some way. If that is the case, please make sure you have considered the Terms of Use for the information in the courses. They are copyright to DLAI, but you are allowed to use them in various ways, provided that you credit DLAI as the source, I believe. But it’s been a while since I read them in detail and they may have updated them.

Actually, that wasn’t my point. I thought the facts were more memorable when I wrote in my hand rather than just reading it.

Fair enough. You can always keep your own notes, which is my normal methodology. But I started on these courses before the PDF notes even existed.
