Organizational question regarding assigments

Hello Team,

I have just started with the content from course 1 Intro to DE and completed week 1 right now.

I had taken a look at the deadlines for assignment submitions per week for each of the 4 courses and saw that expect for the 1st course all the others have the same deadline for each week eg Sept 29th for week 1.
Am I supposed to do all the courses in parallel?

I was under the impression that since this is a 4 course certification course and each course is building on top of the previous ones, the deadline for the second course should ideally start after the 1st course ends and so on…
Would be really great if I can get some clarification on this.

We’re so excited that you started course 1 :smiley: These four courses are meant to be taken in sequence because the concepts and assignments in later courses build on top of the concepts learned in earlier courses. So, we encourage you to complete course 1 before starting course 2, and so on.

When you enroll in a course, Coursera automatically sets the deadline for assignments based on the current date. Don’t worry, when you get to the later courses, you can just reset the deadlines.
