Practice Quiz - Partial Derivatives and Gradient

I am stuck on the third question:

Let f(x,y) = x^2 + 2*y^2 + **y

The minimum value of f is:

Hint: The question asks for the minimum value that the function can output, and not the point (x,y) that gives it.

This reduces to
[ 2x
4y + 8]

minimum point x=0, y = -2

The quiz does not want the point, not sure what the minimum value of f is then?

Any help would be appreciated.

Once you know what x and y are, how can you calculate what the corresponding value of the function?

Thank you, I appreciate the help.
