Problems on Assignment 5: Capstione pt.2

I’m encountering numerous errors in the final project of the course.
My terminal is dying every time I try to follow the Terraform steps.
I follow the note that told me to create an error.txt file

.

For more context, I was executing step 3.1.1.
→ terraform apply -target=module.data_quality

And then, my environment got disconnected. When I reload the page, I try doing everything from the beginning, and that’s where it starts to fail.

Also, I read from other posts that I need to move my old files into a folder (done), write echo (also done). But nothing works. could anyone restart my AWS account? Or what else can I do here?

Hi,

Just checking—were you able to get the latest version after moving the existing files into a new folder?

Hello,

I am also experiencing similar issues in my last lab part.2.
Even after requesting a lab reset, I still face the problem today when I try to run the terraform data quality module.

Could you please advise?

Best regards,
Bonaventure.

Hello,

You need to retrieve the original lab files and set everything up again:

  1. Create a new folder and move your current lab files into it (you can name it old_files).
  2. Click on Lab Help (the question mark in the top right).
  3. Select “Get the latest version.”
  4. Locate the newly downloaded Terraform folder.
  5. Run the Terraform commands again.

Be sure to run source scripts/setup.sh first—this sets the necessary environment variables for Terraform.

You can refer to this guide for help with steps 2–3.

Dear @benjamintabaresjr,

Thank you for your reply.
I tried doing that but I still face errors when trying to run the Glue transforms commands. This is the error code I am getting now:

AnalysisException: Insufficient Lake Formation permission(s) on de_c4w4a2_silver_db (Service: AWSGlue; Status Code: 400; Error Code: AccessDeniedException; Request ID: fd00f392-39da-4795-99c2-938493ad77ed; Proxy: null)

I have been trying this lab for weeks now. The issues persist. I followed all instructions carefully.

Best regards,
Bonaventure
