Python newbie here! Come say hi

Hey hey. I’m a marketing copywriter, and I’m super excited to do this course and build a machine for writing email subject lines (at least, that’s the FIRST project I want to do). I’m no programmer, but I’m anti-staying-in-one’s-disciplinary-lane. I did take another DeepLearning.ai short course that required Python and my existing rudimentary knowledge of it allowed me to get through it just fine. As long as I can modify existing code, I can keep up We will see how I do with the labs. I’ve learned a great deal in week one already!

I applaud you for taking on this challenge! Best wishes on the course - I have just started it myself.

The big LLMs are usually very good with code. You can ask ChatGPT, Bard, or any big LLM to create a code based on something you describe, correct mistakes, or explain what some code does.

Also, Google Colab Notebooks are a convenient way to try some coding without too much trouble. They work like a document on Google Drive that can run code.

That’s wonderful, @Sophie_Strosberg. May you achieve success in all your endeavors. If you ever encounter challenges, remember that we’re here to assist you, so don’t hesitate to reach out. Wishing you a productive and joyful learning journey.
