Spotify developer dashboard - unable to create app (new integrations on hold)

Hi everyone,

Apologies for the duplicate, I’m aware there is another related post, but thought about posting a new one for visibility as it is a blocking issue.

I’m currently unable to create a Spotify app because the Spotify Developer Dashboard shows the message “New integrations are currently on hold while we make updates to improve reliability and performance.”

Because of this, I can’t obtain a client ID / access token to complete the lab as intended,
Has anyone found an official workaround or received guidance from the course staff on how to proceed in this situation?

Hi @Aingeru_Scotland we’re already implementing a workaround until new app creation in Spotify is back up. I’ll let you know when its done, probably today or tomorrow.

Hi @magdalena.bouza For two days now I’ve tried to create an app at Spotify Dashboard without success. I suggest you guys put the mock disclaimer before the step 1 (1. Go to https://developer.spotify.com/, …) In my case, I only searched for it after I’ve seen this post.

Thanks for the suggestion @nocedan. I’ve moved the disclaimer further up in the instructions to avoid any confusions in the future.
