there is a response, but i am doing this on deeplearning.ai, NOT on Coursera
Two thoughts:
- You have to watch every video all the way to the end, then click “Next”.
- On some browsers, you can only clear one task per browser session. Once you click “Next”, you have to refresh the browser before you can complete another one.
thanks for the ideas.
a. does not solve this. Videos get the check-mark, but starting here and onward
do not.
b. i have done lots of refreshing and none of the task/exercise topics get checked off.
ok, it looks like:
- videos get cheked off, but
- chapters with tasks/code without a video do not
- videos get cheked off, but
- chapters with tasks/code without a video do not
Hopefully a mentor for that course will have some other ideas to help the situation.
Hello, you could try another browser or clearing the cache. If not, it must be an internal error in the code that checks the completion. If anyone else has the problem, please communicate that the course section needs review of the completion checks.
Hi @Jumis,
What do you mean by chapters with tasks/code without a video
. Could you share a screenshot of what you are referring to ?
Thanks,
Mubsi
hah, ok, i got it. i completed the tasks without watching the videos, as the video was hidden under the toggle button. the videos remained hidden when opening new chapters.
let’s call it a user error
maybe a bigger button would help for noobs like me.
Thanks @Jumis ! I’d like to make sure I understand what it means for the video to be hidden under the toggle button. Would it be possible to share a screenshot?
