Tips for Going from Beginner to Pro with Coursera AI Courses

I’m new to AI and just started the AI for Everyone course. I want to build a strong foundation and eventually become professional in this field.

Do you have any tips or a recommended roadmap for someone like me to go from beginner to pro using Coursera courses?

I would recommend to start with Andrew’s Machine Learning Specialization. It’s a very comprehensive foundational program, very well designed and beginner friendly.

When you are ready going further, next up would be Deep Learning Specialization. It’s more neural network focused, which is current AI all about.

Does the Math Foundation necessory before taking these courses?

This is a nice guide to go from a beginner to pro in AI by Chip Huyen: MLOps guide.

It’s not all about Coursera courses, but some of them are Coursera courses/specializations.

If you want to strictly take Coursera courses, especially if you have a Coursera Plus subscription, you can search for the equivalent of each of the course/resource in the guide on Coursera.

I just started the AI for developers very interesting. I’m in search of job. I wanted to upskill create a strong path and foundation and get a good job. Is there any path or roadmap to become a AI developer to get a high paying job.
