I saw that past students had the same issue but it seems it was never resolved. Can anyone help?
First check if your computer’s time zone is set correctly.

I have not heard that there was any change in the course.
Time allotment expiration happens when either you left the browser open for too long, or changed your time zone system setting or the browser setting.
Sometimes even clearing out any browser or cache history with logging out and logging in also helps this resolved issue. This has helped me once but I had to make sure my time zone was correct and browser setting were not changed related to my location.

@Deepti_Prasad I am facing the same issue. I have tried clearing out cache and logging out and logging in again. I even logged in from a different browser.
I have reported the issue. I am hoping it will be resolved by the Coursera side.
Did you check your system and browser settings related to time zone?
