I am not able to retake Week 1 quiz. I was late on my scheduled date. I did payment to resume my course and then after revising all lectures. I tries to attempt retake quiz but keep getting error “The time allotted has expired, please submit.” immediately after starting quiz.
please raise your concern at Coursera learner help center with details of when you took the course, date expired, you did payment, and when you got the time allotted error. They will address this issue.

Being late for the quiz should not cause any problem retaking it. The learning schedule (those deadlines) is voluntary.
I would first make sure that my computer’s time is correct and that it was in the right time zone. After that, if this error presisted, I would submit (probably will leave a record of that submission), and see if the “Try Again” button was available to me - if so, I retake it, otherwise, I contact Cousera’s staff.
