W4_Assignment Submission_Permission denied

Hi everyone. My code for this assignment has passed the public tests but fails to submit. I’ve tried many times but always get permissoin denied error messages. I’ve tried to submit multiple times, relaunched the workbook multiple times and have also attempted to download the workbook. Any thoughts?

Thank you.

I have exactly the same problem. I can’t submit the assignment

Can anybody help me?

same problem i am facing from yesterday, please someone help

i have tried to update the lab and also tried to reboot , but still the problem not solved

Having a similar experience and now getting 404 not found when I try to launch the lab. Hoping that it is down for tweaking.

Same problem for me!

same problem, what do I do?

Hi all! Sorry this thread got overlooked somehow for so long!

It looks like this is referring to C1W4 of the Deep Learning Specialization, so I will move it to the right course (this is the Tensorflow Advanced Techniques specialization).

But… the problem you are seeing looks like a Coursera issue that we are seeing in several of the specializations. There is a workaround:

  1. Temporarily rename your notebook
  2. Choose “Get latest version” from the help menu
  3. Rename your notebook back to the original name

You can see other posts in the DLS category about this issue, like this one:

Hi there. Thanks for trying to help with this. Unfortunately I’m now getting “404: file not found” when I try to launch the lab. Has it been taken down for maintenance? For the avoidance of doubt I’m talking about the final assessed lab titled " Programming Assignment: Create a VGG network" on the course titled " Custom Models, Layers, and Loss Functions with TensorFlow". Thank you.

Hi @fsmedley!

Click “Help” in the upper right corner and then select “Get Latest Version” and that should get you a fresh copy of the assignment notebook.

Best,
Saif.

Thanks so much for the rapid response Saif. That worked and so did the assignment submission. Much appreciate everyone’s effort fixing that one.

Glad to know that :blush::blush:
